A wonderful couple called Steffen and Susi called our place home for 8 days in early January. We loved hanging out with them and were really sad to see them go. On their last night with us they treated us to a movie - 'Casino Royale'. We also got paid a short visit by Becky & Andrew from the US. We didn't get to spend much time with them as we were working while they were here, but they were fun to talk to in the evening. They've moved to NZ for a year and were chock full of enthusiasm. In fact, I reckon Becky must be one of the bubbliest people I've met in a very long time.

January also saw us coming up with a plan for the rest of our annual leave in 2007 (after our upcoming trip to Japan). We're going to South Africa in November! I can still hardly believe it. We're both huge animal lovers, and so to get to spend 10 days surrounded by all sorts of them is really exciting.
