A Saturday in Budapest

The rest of our time in Budapest turned out to be very nice. Yesterday we joined the crowds of tourists at Castle Hill, where we admired the medieval buildings and the views of Budapest. After lunch and a bath for me/nap for Shanon we went to Margaret Island, a recreational island in the river. There was a musical fountain there which doused young children when they least expected it - very fun to watch. In the evening we went on a cruise on the Danube River as the sun was setting which was very worthwhile. Budapest by day is so-so, but Budapest by night is WOW! The city looks amazing with all the cool old buildings and bridges lit up.
