San Diego Zoo

Yesterday I went to the San Diego Zoo. It's supposed to be one of the world's best zoos and I'd certainly compare it favourably with many I've been to. I'm definitely glad I went, even if it did cost a small fortune. The price is a horrific US$22, or US$32 for a deluxe ticket which includes a guided bus tour and unlimited rides on the bus and gondola. While it's nowhere near as fantastic as Singapore Zoo (in my opinion), it is home to a very exciting exhibit - pandas! Not only do they have them, but you can get really close. And there's a cute baby one too.
