Happy New Years!

The weather in Auckland co-operated and we were able to spend a nice New Years Eve with our friends Matt & Kim. They're Americans who just moved to NZ 3 days ago so it was great fun spending their very first experiences here with them.

In the morning we drove out to Muriwai to visit the gannet colony there. We'd never been there before and it was definitely an amazing place to go. Any Aucklanders who haven't been yet....go!
